Major Focus of IIC

  • 1.To create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem
  • 2.Start-up/entrepreneurship supporting mechanism in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs)
  • 3.Prepare institute for Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements Framework (ARIIA)
  • 4.Establish a functional ecosystem for scouting ideas and pre-incubation of ideas
  • 5.Promote innovation in the institution through various modes, leading to an innovation promotion ecosystem on campus
  • 6.Organize Hackathons, idea competitions, mini-challenges, etc., with industry involvement
  • 7.Conduct various innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities as prescribed by Central MIC in a time-bound manner
  • 8.Identify and reward innovations and share success stories
  • 9.Organize periodic workshops, seminars, and interactions with entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals
  • 10.Create a mentor pool for student innovators
  • 11.Network with peers and national entrepreneurship development organizations
  • 12.Create an Institution’s Innovation Portal to highlight innovative projects carried out by the institution’s faculty and students
