Preface

Discipline plays a vital role in maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful academic environment. It is essential for the smooth functioning of the college and for fostering the holistic development of students. In order to ensure that proper standards of behavior, ethics, and decorum are maintained within the campus, a Discipline Committee is constituted at the college level.

The committee aims to instill a sense of responsibility, respect, and accountability among students and staff, ensuring that academic and co-curricular activities are conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner. It also acts as a guiding and corrective body in cases of indiscipline and misconduct, promoting a culture of mutual respect and harmony on campus.

 

Objectives

• To maintain discipline and order within the campus and create an environment conducive to learning.
• To promote a sense of responsibility, respect, and good conduct among students and staff.
• To prevent and address issues of indiscipline, misconduct, or violation of rules through proper guidelines and corrective measures.
• To ensure a safe and secure campus by enforcing rules and regulations effectively.
• To encourage students to follow the code of conduct and uphold the reputation of the institution.
• To provide counseling and guidance to students involved in disciplinary issues, focusing on positive behavioral change.
• To support the administration in implementing discipline-related policies and decisions.
• To maintain proper records of disciplinary actions and ensure fair and transparent proceedings.
